Paranormal Activity 2

Paranormal Activity 2 Trailer – Release Date – The original “Paranormal Activity” was a surprise runaway success, scaring audiences all over the United States. With the success of the low budget original, the studio decided that it would be in their best interest to release a sequel to the movie. Of course, it will be hard for them to capture the magic of the first film by using the same style of filming, but “Paranormal Activity 2” does have surprises of its own.
It will draw viewers in once again with the night vision cameras that made the original so exciting for audiences in the same vein that “Blair Witch” did. The movie is filmed in the same house as the original, judging from the original. This had led many to believe that Katie is the one inhabiting the home as a ghost this time around after being violently dragged from her bed in the original movie.

Case 39 Review

The Halloween season always draws out the craziness in people’s personalities. This is certainly the case in several aspects relating to the new horror movie ‘Case 39,’ the newest film trying to capitalize on the genre of demons possessing young girls. Starring Renee Zellweger, Bradley Cooper and featuring up-and-coming horror actress Jodelle Ferland, ‘Case 39′ not only relays the craziness of several of the main characters, but also the Academy Award-winning actress’ decision to star in the film.

Paramount Vantage, the studio behind ‘Case 39,’ even seemed to lack faith in the suspense thriller before its release. Shot in fall 2006, the movie was originally scheduled for release in winter 2008, and was then pushed back to that summer. Its release was delayed again to spring 2009, and it finally made it into theaters in the U.S. on October 1, 2010. Opening on this day makes ‘Case 39’s failure almost a certainty, as it debuted against the highly-anticipated ‘Let Me In,’ the remake of the Swedish vampire horror movie ‘Let The Right Ones In.’ ‘Case 39′ also opened against the highly-acclaimed and early Oscar contender ‘The Social Network,’ which details the rise of social networking empire Facebook.

What??!! TOILET SNAKES IN MANHATTAN!

NEW YORK – Large numbers of residents in Manhattan and the Bronx have been finding snakes in their toilets.

Forget Snakes on a Plane, there’s Snakes in the Potty!

Yesterday, a Bronx resident went to his bathroom and found a three-foot corn snake  “comfortably coiled” on his toilet seat. Apparently it swam through the plumbing. Standing on his kitchen table, he told the cops, “get the mother%^*king snake off my mother%^*ing toilet!”

New York cops said that reports of “toilet snakes” have been increasing every day.  “We used to get one or two of these calls a year,” said Officer Chris Blanton, “but in the last month we’ve been getting over three hundred a day.  I think there’s a serious snake problem in the city.”

U.S. welcomes Russia's ban on S-300 missile sales to Iran

The U.S. welcomes the Russian president's decree to prohibit the delivery of S-300 air defense missile systems and other weapons to Iran, a White House official said.
National Security Council spokesman Mike Hammer welcomed the move as a "faithful and robust implementation of UN Security Council resolution 1929" of June 9, 2010, which imposes an additional set of sanctions on the Islamic Republic over its controversial nuclear program.
The presidential decree, which includes a ban on sales of battle tanks, armored vehicles, large-caliber artillery systems, warplanes, military helicopters, ships and missiles, is part of measures Russia is taking to comply with the resolution.
